Pilar Escobar
Maria del Pilar is an example of overcoming: she experienced being a single, adolescent mother, a difficult situation that allowed her to find great opportunities for growth and progress while overcoming the obstacles. Hardworking, honest and reliable, she manages to disarm anyone with her smile and tenderness. She is saddened by injustice, inequity for women, especially for low-income women. This independent and courageous woman became part of OUT OF LINE to break the links of inequality that women are subjected to, that is why she wants to shake hands with talented girls so that they can shine and find paths of hope. Pili, as her friends call her, hopes that each smile she gives to others will become the balm for complicated days and difficult moments.
Pablo Arce
Defines himself as a rational man, committed to the causes that he believes in. he is demanding, self-critical and oriented to getting results, he is also a rebellious, persistent, passionate, idealist, who loves to travel and live in nature. Pablo is the mixture of the mental structure of a civil engineer with the generous and tranquil heart of a child who gives a lot without expecting anything in return. It is clear that he is part of the solution and not the problem.
His favorite phrase is, “I’m thankfully for all those who told me No to me. It is because of them I’m doing it myself “, by Albert Einstein. The initiative of OOL was born because of him when he became aware of some communities where girls between 8 and 13 years old were destined to be teen mothers or housewives, as the only way to make their life.
Tatiana Riaño Caro
She says that love leads her life: love for what she thinks and does. that love transmits itself to people who know her and radiates good energy. She is passionate to the core, although pragmatic and rational in many ways. risky, a traveler and music lover. As a journalist, she has learned that her actions must speak for themselves, making a difference, breaking paradigms, changing the way people think and live. As a mother, she is an example: her daughter is the motor of her life, and she does not spare any efforts to make her happy. Her level of commitment has no limits: when she commits to something, she does everything to accomplish it. She is proactive to always look forward, because backwards does not help to gain momentum. She says – “enjoy the simple things and yearn to contribute to the transformation of the world with small actions that generate awareness. OOL is your greatest motivation to transcend and achieve our purpose, which is: “to serve others.”
Jorge Pachón Sáenz
He is a calm person, full of dreams and expectations. According to him, he suffers the peter pan syndrome, he lives his life as a child, discovering new things, learning from day to day, loving what he does. That does not take away the responsibility and commitment that he has. He does not like the conventional or what might be called a ‘normal’ life. This professional photographer admits that he is sentimental and cries without much difficulty. He is saddened to live in a country where corruption and violence do not contribute to culture, civility or education, and he worries about the misery that this produces. If transforming the world depended on him, he would simply try to convey basic values such as respect and honesty. A phrase that defines him: “it only takes one person to change your life, and that person is You.”
Héctor Herrera
His warmth and charisma make him stand out when you meet him. An industrial engineer by profession, he is concrete and practical. However, he is an extroverted man, a warrior, who expresses his affection in a genuine way, infecting others with good energy, even at difficult times. Affectionate, helpful and concerned about the needs of those surround him, he confesses that what he enjoys the most in life is to watch films that he has already seen, go out with his friends and have a good time. Mistreatment and indifference sadden him, that’s why he loves to help and contribute to help different communities and change their reality. Although he is a man of few words, his actions demonstrate his unconditional interest in those around him, a characteristic that authentically highlights him and allows him to win friends wherever he goes.
